Some friends and I were bored one day and started to discuss our shared love of the hit UK series Taskmaster. We then mused about how fun it would be to make one ourselves. And then we got serious about it. And then, after dozens of hours of filming and over a hundred hours of editing, Taskmaster – Chicago was born.

I filmed the entire thing on my Sony Alpha 6400, a GoPro 10, and my iPhone 11 Pro with some cheap microphones and lighting equipment. I edited it all in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. We presented and filmed it in front of a live studio audience of our friends at Chicago Dramatist, a nonprofit theater in Chicago.
